Who is producing The Out of Order Tour?
A.
Monte Zucker Photographic Education (MZPE). This is our 11th national tour. Our most recent production, The Art of Visual Storytelling Tour with Alex Buono, Oscar Nominee and Director of Photography for the SNL film unit-drew record attendance for a filmmaking tour of over 4,000 students in 31 cities.

My company will cover the cost of the workshop if I can produce a certificate of completion, will this be available?
A.
Most definitely! Upon completion of the event you will need to email our Tour Manager at wendi@montezucker.com and request your certificate.
Q.
I’ve misplaced my ticket and don’t know where the event is being held in my city, what is the venue for my city’s event?
A.
Your receipt will have the venue name on it. If you’ve misplaced your receipt or simply want the most current information, go to the Dates/Tickets page and click “Information” for your city.
Q.
What if I am unable to attend, can I get a refund?
A.
You may cancel your registration and receive a refund up to 14 days prior to the seminar date. A $20 cancellation fee will be assessed per ticket. You may send another attendee in your place if you are unable to attend. Please note that if you do not cancel and are unable to attend, a refund cannot be processed. To obtain a refund, please contact a Tour Representative at 202-448-2895 or email us at cancel@montezucker.com.

May I change my ticket from one city to another?
A.
Yes you may. Please call us at 202-448-2895 and we’ll be happy to move your registration to another city.

Can I bring a spouse or child to the event for free?
A.
Everyone must have a ticket to enter.
Q.
What time should I arrive for the workshop?
A.
Showing up early will give you a chance to meet and mingle with the sponsors and see what services and gear they have and how it can help your business. We chose our sponsors because we use their gear and services; we believe in them—they have added value to our business, and we think you’ll find the same thing applies to you.

What time should I arrive for the Daytime Storytelling Through Editing Workshop?
A.
Please arrive no later than 8:45am.

Will I be seated if I arrive late?
A.
Yes, but you’ll miss out on the most valuable information if you’re late…Monte used to say this great line whenever someone would enter the room belatedly…just as they arrived, he’d say: “And that’s the secret to how you can make 1 million dollars!”

What do I bring to be admitted into the event?
A.
Just print out the receipt that was emailed to you when you purchased your ticket online. If you misplaced that, don’t worry; we’ll have a list of all ticketholders with us onsite—we’ll just look you up.

Are meals provided for those who have purchased the Full Experience?
A.
We will not have food available as part of the class. Each location will have restaurant facilities on site and nearby that you can purchase food from.

Can I bring food?
A.
Only if the venue permits.
Q.
I forgot to put the discount code in when I registered and I already bought my ticket. How do I get the discount?
A.
If you simply forgot to enter the code, please call or email us within 24 hours after purchasing the ticket and we’ll apply it retroactively. Unfortunately, we are unable to apply a discount if it has been more than 24 hours since you made your order.

Do you have any other training materials?
A.
The Monte Zucker Photographic Education store has over a dozen titles on photography and film education.

Will there be discounts on products available at the workshop?
A.
Yes, there will be special pricing at the workshop only.
Q.
Do I need to bring any gear to the Daytime Storytelling Through Editing Workshop?
A.
No gear is necessary. Bring a pen and a notebook though, because there’s a wealth of valuable information you wont want to miss.
Q.
I ordered a DVD of the class. When will it ship? What method do you use for shipping?
A.
The Storytelling Through Editing Workshop DVD will ship 30 days following the end of the tour. You will receive the book at the tour event.
Q.
I am in another country, can I order the DVD and have it shipped to me?
A.
Yes, the online store will automatically gather your shipping address and international shipping charges. We will mail your order along with everyone else’s. All orders are shipped using the United States Postal Service.

I am in the military can you ship to an AE addresses?
A.
Absolutely. If you’re having any trouble filling in your shipping information online, please call us at 202-448-2895 or email sales@montezucker.com and we’ll take care of you.

What does Monte Zucker Photographic Education teach?

Formed in 2007 shortly before Monte’s passing, MZPE’s purpose is to build upon Monte’s expansive educational achievements. Our mission is to provide the finest photographic and filmmaking instruction in the world in honor of Monte’s legacy as a legendary instructor and mentor. Our approach utilizes all of the finest forms of education to provide the aspiring photographer and filmmaker a comprehensive set of tools to reach his or her artistic potential. Monte Zucker Photographic Education authors books, produces DVD instruction, holds internationally-acclaimed tours, and gives classes at the largest photography and filmmaking educational tradeshows in the world.

What editing software will you feature?
A.
Adobe Premiere will be the featured software, but Ross makes an effort to teach theory only, which means it can apply to any software, past, present and future.
Q.
Is this applicable to Wedding Films, Documentaries, etc? But most importantly, why?
A.
For sure, editing process is the same for every film. Ross mastered his editing process making wedding films and documentaries. And lastly, stories are stories, regardless of the type of story you're telling, the philosophies don't change.

Is there any participation of the audience?
A.
Absolutely, that is the basis of the class.
Q.
Do we get to meet Ross?
A.
Most definitely, Ross will hang out as long as you want after the show, unless there is a Celtics game on.
